We need to go only as far as Instagram to see it.
If you’re on the gram of Insta long enough (as most of us are) you’ll see pictures of scantily clad girls waving weight loss supplements in your face, Kardashian selfies, clothing advertisements and ads for fat squishing corsets.
If that’s not enough, we see “superhuman” women gracing runways with long legs pumping and white smiles flashing. These women are perfect, unattainable and ultimately: not the real definition of beauty.
Of course, we know this is a problem.
But do we KNOW the real problem?
The ads we see are only a symptom. Businesses market what sells. Companies say their companies will make us more beautiful, more valuable.
And we are buying into it. We are buying into it because we don’t know we are the King’s Daughters.
You may have heard the phrase “The King’s Daughter’s” before but…what does it mean?
In this devotional, I want to share what I have learned about the benefits of being the King’s Daughter.
For starters: the deeper in a relationship you are with your Heavenly Father, the King, the more you see the truth about yourself.
When you understand how He sees you your world will change, I guarantee it.
Are you ready to stop asking the mirror for approval, being afraid of people and not living to your full potential?
Girl, then let’s get into this!
